During the full-scale war in Ukraine, three wind power plants with a capacity of almost 230 MW have been built, and another 58 projects are at various stages of implementation.

According to Andriy Konechenkov, chairman of the board of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association, since the beginning of the full-scale war, three new wind farms have been built in Ukraine: Tyligulska (114 MW), Dnistrovsk (60 MW) and Skolivska (54.6 MW). “Currently, there are 58 projects with a total capacity of more than seven GW at various stages. However, these projects are in temporarily occupied territories. That is, 4-5 GW can be implemented while the war continues,” he said. According to him, almost the entire territory of Ukraine is suitable for the development of wind generation.
