Stock index futures inched lower on Friday, while yields were mixed, a day after the blue-chip Dow briefly crossed the 40K mark.
S&P 500 futures (SPX) -0.2%, Nasdaq 100 futures (US100:IND) -0.1% and Dow futures (INDU) -0.1%.
The 10-year Treasury yield (US10Y) rose 3 basis points to 4.39%. The 2-year yield (US2Y) was flat at 4.80%.

“The positive market mood that had dominated earlier this week started to waver as the day progressed,” Deutsche Bank’s Jim Reid said.
U.S. stocks on Thursday ended just under the flatline, as remarks on inflation from Fed speakers cooled rate cut optimism.
Cleveland Fed President, Loretta Mester, said that the central bank will need more time to gather data before cutting interest rates, while Richmond Fed’s Tom Barkin said, inflation is coming down, but it is still not enough.
