April 22 (Reuters) – Canada’s main stock index opened lower on Monday, dragged down by materials stocks, as global markets aim to recoup some losses triggered by Middle East tensions in the previous week.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (13:31 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index (.GSPTSE), opens new tab was down 20.34 points, or 0.09%, at 21,787.03.
