Bangladesh Boosts Clean Energy with Solar Expansion in Char Areas, Collaborates with ISA

The government of Bangladesh is set to significantly expand solar power usage in the country’s char areas, stated State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid. In a strategic move to harness solar energy, the government, in collaboration with the International Solar Alliance (ISA), is gearing up to implement nine solar power projects by December 2024, aiming to enhance energy access and ensure energy security across the nation.
