Investing.com – Canada equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Toronto, the rose 0.66% to hit a new 52-week high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Bombardier Inc (TSX:), which rose 6.91% or 3.59 points to trade at 55.56 at the close. Altus Group Limited (TSX:) added 4.72% or 1.96 points to end at 43.51 and Canada Goose Holdings Inc (TSX:) was up 4.66% or 0.71 points to 15.96 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Athabasca Oil Corp (TSX:), which lost 3.86% or 0.17 points to trade at 4.23 in late trade. Pason Systems Inc . (TSX:) declined 3.77% or 0.60 points to end at 15.31 and Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd (TSX:) shed 3.46% or 0.11 points to 3.07.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 614 to 368 and 93 ended unchanged on the Toronto Stock…
